Simplifies removal and/or installation of rear shock spring, making it possible for the do-it-yourselfer to handle the job in their garage or shop. Works on V-Star 650/Road Star/Warrior springs. Does not work on V-Star 1100 shock springs. Note: Changes to suspension that lower motorcycles, change spring rates or affect damping can change the way your bike handles, including angles of contact when cornering.
